I did my usual scalping this afternoon. Four years ago, or even four months ago this $5K would have felt incredible. But today? Meh. Let's see, we had about an $8700 range, and $7600 of that was after I entered my 5974 short, which I mindf*cked myself into taking a $1K profit on. Then, ES gave me not one but two opportunities to get in again at very small points of risk relative to the potential reward, and I stood flat footed. Or flat assed, as I was at my desk. I'd like to blame my boss, but I have no one to blame but myself. My new daily trading affirmation: "Someday I will not suck. Someday I will not suck."
I'm pretty sure Trump and his MAGA followers will find away to blame whatever hell he's about to bring to the world on Biden. Which would not be entirely inaccurate by the way. If Biden had not run for an ill-advised second term to be our first dementia patient president we'd have had a real primary and possibly we'd have seen the Dems nominate someone who would have beaten Trump. @Apprentice, let me know when I should order my "When in doubt, get short!" coffee mug
he is but the trader bessent is all over his 10 year note, i bet he trades his zn more than his spy anyway, bought cl 5 lots, target 69.5-70
While I agree with this sentiment overall, Harris wasn't the issue per se. It was the party leaders crap strategy/messaging. Of course she is a part of that too and let others lead her astray but they need to wake the eff up or we'll have dog eater J D Dunce (or someone else even below him) next time around. But tRump really boxed himself in good with these stupid tariffs. Good.
I have a hard time getting past the part where she didn't even make it to the first primary before having to drop out from lack of support in 2020. She was a terrible choice for VP, imo, and she was the nominee who lost to Trump and JD Dunce, so she and the Dems have to own it. They had me fooled, eventually, into thinking she'd actually pull it off.
Agree, but the party apparatus needs to change too. Bigly change. Or else 4 (or 8) more years of Dotard II.
We live in unpredictable times, one tweet and our most well thought plans go up in smoke. I thought Friday was window dressing for Feb and le option ex pump. Today felt short even with the gap up, too much political stuff.
Absolutely. The party has to move on from the Clinton/Obama elitism. The fact that the party stuck with 74 year old Gerry Connolly instead of moving on to AOC on the House oversight committee shows how committed the Dems are to remaining a minority party and propping up the liberal elite establishment rather than doing anything meaningful to make America better for regular people. I for one am so sick of Boomer Rule.
