For major moves on S&P using a 19 % filter, the average low to high move is 64 %. Average duration is 1.6 years. Since the 13th of October 2022 we're up 74.71 % on the S&P over a period of 2.2 years. So, we're pushing the averages both in move size and duration. First year of a Presidential cycle is usually bullish, though. Only 2001 was red in this millenium. Trump's first year was + 19.42 %. Biden's first was + 26.89 %.
not especially useful lines for my point of view really, but some levels i'm looking at. trend looks strong. Guessing longs are best. I think 6060 ish could have trouble. Maybe look for longs with a target of around there depending on your timeframe?? Personally would probably prefer a pullback to one of them levels to get long though, but we'll see. No trades yet for me

Feels like what I call a rug pull rally. Everything in place for a one way trend day higher. Then the rug gets pulled. Not for the whole day necessarily. But just enough, a sharp down reversal, to shake us retail longs out while whales swallow our stops whole. I'm not one to fade a bull though. I'm no top picker on a breakout day.
Breakout above last week's high and tractor beam rally. There will be a rug pull at some point. When it happens it is likely a buy the dip opportunity, imo.
