  1. You been off for at least a month, buddy. Hopefully, you're humbled enough to stop saying dumb things ("This market will never..." or "This market just can't...") by now.

You have to trade the market you're given and you have to trade the market as it is. Not how you wish it to be. Not how it was last summer. Not what would benefit you the most. No, you have to trade it like it is.

  3. Busy week ahead with a lot of economic data. NFP on Friday being the most important one, I suppose.

I wouldn't be surprised if we trade lower going into that.

But don't have a strong view in either direction at the moment. Just trying to get a sense of the most obvious levels nearby and pending catalysts.

That said, I do feel it's time to be ready to play the short side.

So true. I'm my own trading I've learned to just trade what I see in that moment as I wait for my setup to appear.

Once in a trade - same attitude. Although it could be challenging at times because now your committed and want to see things play out your way. But regardless, same attitude

I don't even speculate on what price could do over a period of a day because that same speculation would have me miss opportunities where I could have made money.

Trading what you see is ideal.

You know why, right? Because nobody trusts Uncle Sam and his addiction for higher debt. Frankly, I think the whole world will demand it goes back to the Gold standard. Or even Bitcoin (anything but $$$).

Bond and gold, both considered a safe-haven, usually move in tandem. But, as you can see, they split up since 2020 and the gap between them is only getting wider by the day. So instead of looking at the bonds, take a look at gold instead. If that thing makes a moonshot, then you know this country is screwed.

i had a previous conviction that rty would catch up to all time high fast but no longer. expect regional banks balance sheet will explode again at current 10 year yield. the fed can’t raise rate again and tariff wars are pending.

spx dips to 200dma or lower in q1 would not surprise me.
