Ah. I see. By that, I simply mean I'm so bullish that I can get blinded towards seeing the short side which in fact was the most profitable trade yesterday. I traded plenty short 4-5 weeks ago when the market was correcting. Generally, I like to play in direction of the larger trend, so, when the market's in bull mode I generally look for dips to go long or trade breakouts. 4-5 weeks ago I had confidence in the short side as that was the dominant direction for that period. An expert trader would play both sides. I'm not yet an expert.
Excellent. The market's dipping. 50 would be even better for a long. Not going to be greedy today. A move back to 70 would be enough. Have to be prepared for the short side, too, but not the main scenario at this point. Let's see what happens on the Open in a few minutes.
trade well my man, todays a really rare day for me, but days like today are where I can get in trouble. since i know that just going to be careful and remain disciplined. If 54-58 on ES and 60-66 on NQ is what I am looking at for potential long depending on how it reacts. if market is clean and that bullish should see decent move up from there.
whelp, so far regretting not taking profit at original target, but still expecting the usual ramp at some point, so no change in position for now. We'll see!
