Why should I be thankful it's pointed out? Your opinion is continuous contracts are not good for charting longer term, I respect that opinion. My opinion is they are fine for charting longer term and my ATH did hit and we pulled back after clearing above it. So factual the level I hit posted and worked. You're the one discrediting my level and saying I have an ego, does that honestly make sense to you? The continuous contract I use is from a respected broker that has been around for over 30 years and I've used it to back test 20 years of data and have never had any issues with it for short term or long term analysis. If you don't like that or agree I don't know what to tell you, maybe you're the one with an ego telling others their levels are wrong?
Also did I not PM you? So how are you not being disingenuous saying I am not willing to engage? Did also not offer to trade live with people multiple times? Telling me I have an ego, than saying I should be glad someone pointed it out when my continuous contract that has worked for fine for short and long term analysis for 20+ years, once again provided fine analysis. Did I PM you? Yes Did I offer to trade live with anyone multiples times? Yes Did my ATH high target get hit? Yes Did we pull back after my ATH target got hit? Yes Please give an actual argument if you're going to reply and refute my statements, not making up things. Thank you.
The CME refuted it with their statement that ES made an all time high some time ago, so there is nothing left to refute ... I am not thinking your levels are wrong, I know your levels are wrong, it's not an opinion, it's a fact. You, the one with the hard headed ego is refusing to even consider your ATH might be wrong, good for you, but you are still wrong. Why am I even responding to you, it's pointless ... This really is my last post directed to you, I have better things to do than arguing with someone who thinks they are right even though the exchange at which the contract in question is traded said otherwise. The ES ATH at time of writing is 4956.00, anything else is wrong and I know that because the ES is traded on a centralized exchange, the levels are the same for everyone that's using their software correctly.
Unless you trade the CFD. Seriously, this tit-for-tat around who's ATH is bigger and longer has gone on for too long. It's time to move on. After all, it ain't the size that counts, it's the technique.
Na, you know very well someone could post a higher level using a FIB or something else and maybe even couple it with a bs story about how some pro trader taught them it and if the level hit and than pulled back that guy and others would accept it and maybe even inquire further about it. Yet me posting a chart from a respectable broker with an adjusted high not yet hit is considered incorrect, despite it working. Like I stopped just alluding to that point I believe and even directly said the point. Yet some how you guys think it’s still about the ATH post.
I'm surprised there's not much chatter going on here today, considering the volatility. Anyway, I figured I'd get the party started by pointing out the obvious, the classic Evening Star...
Thanks Sal...waiting for Spooz to chime in with his forecast...I personally don't see much downside, but 48 and change certainly seems realistic...
