Odds are we'll see a little strength before the nights over, and probably at the open lol. But I think we'll be decently lower by eod Wednesday. If we get a big drop early... don't buy the dip.
This probably isn't what you want to hear lol, but I haven't looked at a chart of the ES tonight, just the quotes. I'm going off today's action on the naz and spx. I see you mentioned that drop at the close. Yeah, that's exactly what cemented it for me. I think that trapped a lot of bulls, I was gonna post earlier, but I was worried the pajama bulls would run it up tonight.
TA my ass I dunno about other places on this forum, but no HINDSIGHT ANALYSIS allowed in this journal. Everything will be forward looking.
Monday (yesterday) was an Up Day closing in the upper part of the range with the prior day being down. The last few times that happened we saw higher prices the next day (Tuesday).
I love the smell of ticks in the morning! Will be waiting for the US RTH open, at least, though. I noticed Nasdaq and none of the Magnificent Seven took out Friday's high like ES did. Earnings will be coming out soon. Expecting decent to strong reports, although prospects looking forward may not thrill. Broad weakness in transportation may be a sign that capital expediture growth, including as related to technology may wane. I believe treasuries need to stabilize before bulls can feel reasonably comfortable. Perhaps Nasdaq will test Friday's high today and provide a shorting opportunity?
