No? I mean, we already opened below yesterday's low, and should push above yesterday's high for an outside day, yes?
Did we? Maybe my charts are messed up after rollover, but I have a flat open inside yesterday's range. Stats gives high odds (but not 100 % of course) of a drop below yesterday's LOD.
Nah, I was looking at 8:30, not 9:30, so yeah it was a flat open on that scale. As an aside, what was that 10AM jolt all about? Don't see anything on the wires yet.
I have 4707.25 as yesterday's LOD - which just broke... Let's see how far we go. I'm happy with a nudge below 4500, but could go considerably lower. Remains to be seen if we get any trend lower or if it's another messy range bound day. Dunno about 10AM. It's not uncommon with a reaction around that time window, news or not.
Nice swings. Impressive recovery off the lows. A bit of volume coming into the market as I imagine bigger players are trying to digest the CPI number which came out today. I still think we're due a new push lower, but probably one of those less predictable days. If we reverse higher and print an Outside Day I'd be impressed.
