I already made my money so I'm merely fooling with this trade. I saw it go up to 78 earlier but just left it alone. Although it'll be nice to come out on top, but don't matter either way. So what's in store for tomorrow? Up or down?
Bounced off SPX 4050. Apparently that was enough for one day... Hard to say, but I would guess we see the week low tomorrow OR Friday taking care of that last gap below in immediate vicinity. That's 58.75 on ES / 4027 on SPX. Next open gap below would be 4001.25 on ES and 3971 on SPX. I don't see any reason why we won't fill those either, but let's see where it goes. Might not be this week. Some big economic ### tomorrow which could reverse this easily, but I wouldn't bet on it. TL;DR: I'd say we're not done below yet, but bear rallies can be vicious, so it's difficult to anticipate clearly how it plays out in advance. What say you? I see a lot of dip buyers on Twitter, so that also suggests further downside to come as people usually get it wrong.
Well, the trend has reversed IMO, so we shouldn't be buying the dips but selling the bounce. On that note, I think we will bounce back up to 4100 tomorrow before being sold off again. Now you know where I'll be shorting
pc ratio suggests we saw a local top and shorting rallies is probably the play for the next couple of weeks. big tech just had blow out earnings, and yet nq still below the AH high from yesterday. that's not suggesting a bullish environment. burden is on the bulls to reclaim that level. otherwise, sell those rallies, imo.
Got your 4100, buddy. NQ looking pretty bullish leading the way with a print above yesterday's high. Would be odd if we don't see some retracement from here or in the RTH session later today, IMO, but what do I know... I'm curious on the impact of GDP and those other numbers coming up in 45 minutes.
Seeing that the whales didn't sell 4100 so far, I'm wondering if today could see some continuation higher. Maybe 4120. Could change in an instant, though. But even within the bearish scenario moving forward there's usually some consolidation and up days in between, so today could be a breather.
