You were using a high-power microscope to see the chart.
That's why it appeared to be a huge rally.

    Yesterday's movement was negligible.

  2. Wrong.

My charts are the biggest charts. Everyone knows that. Nobody has charts bigger than me.

The biggest chart I can display is on my 42" monitor (portrait format).
Of course, I wouldn't be able to see the upper portion as it is too far away from my eyes.

Occassionally, I'd display the ladder on it when the market is moving very violently.
It is fun to see the price moving from one end of the monitor to the other very very far end of the monitor.

  4. Damn.

    You have a big monitor.

Some would say it's the biggest.

"Let's see your journal of trades for the last 10 years, fucker."

That was the question. My question was poorly worded. Blah!

    But the original remains relevant!

Out of curiosity, why is it that your actual trades don't really match the thesis you were sharing earlier about waiting for the big buyers to come in and then joining them? It seems to me like you were doing more so swing trading, but everything you're showing in the past few days is more like scalping. In 2 days, you have 20 trades, both long and short, with an average time of 12 minutes. Don't get me wrong, your win rate is fabulous, but this doesn't seem to match up with the ideas you were sharing earlier.

  8. Does it really matter?

    Focus on yourself.

@QTrader20 isn't going to help you become profitable.

I think I've written this story here before, but way back in the day I was at the Mirage in Vegas, and this craps table was on fire. People were three rows deep screaming and cheering. This big fat f was the "stickman"--- the casino guy sitting there running all the action. (I never really played craps seriously so if my nomenclature is wrong, whatever)

Everyone was cheering, roll after roll, until there came a point where you could barely see any green felt on the table for all the chips. And there were a lot. I'll never forget this lol...

The dude rolled, and whatever it was he rolled, the fat guy pulled out his stick and smugly proclaimed... "Everyone loses."

If he had been smoking a cigar, it would have been a scene right out of Hollywood. And he took every chip off that table with his long curved stick.

So you go V-Man... the crowd is 3 rows deep and cheering. ;)

Where's the "easy money?" When you post this I looked, and the Q's were right at $500. The atm calls were about $5. Friday's. Is that how you played it? It would be a 100% return if you're right. But if you didn't play the options and instead played the underlying for 1000 shares, what's "easy money" on a $500,000 bet? Or $125K using margin?

The only reason I ask, is for all you write... have you ever post one trade entry using any trading instrument --- be it options or the underlying? I like "easy money", everyone here does. So maybe a little less commentary and a little more actual real-time and definitive "easy money" trades? Seems like a reasonable request no?
