I retract my prior call for now. I have no idea where this is going. Flat and watching to see if I see something I like. Don't like the short down here either, although a plunge looks very possible. Any idea why we're seeing so much volatility? Middle East worries? EDIT: Still think 80 is possible. Just not as confident as I was earlier.
So true, that's why I have a fatigue threshold for trading: Tired? I trade Exhausted? I pass Got rid of all major losses
I remember that check list. Only problem is I would never ever place a single trade if I followed that.
Today's session is a widow maker unless you're a very nimble scalper. I imagine these are the type of conditions @QTrader20 would steer away from. I was long on that morning pop and thankfully had a trailing stop to lock in profits, but have gotten chopped up after that. Calling it a day here. Better opportunities some other day. As it looks now, I wouldn't be surprised by either a run to 5780 or a drop to 5720/5700, i.e., no edge here for me. A drop seems more likely given what's going on in the world, but you never know how the market will react. Maybe big players have been hedging and positioning themselves all morning by now.
Well, the best trades to be made was last night AHs. I was busy in and out for a couple of hours while everyone was having a good sleep in US central time. Only my pets and my wife accompanied me while I kept refreshing ET pages with posts from @maxinger lol....
My view is always wrong and it's not important in my trading anyway. Here is my view, bears are over for now. The next down leg, if there is any, might occur again tonight AH.
