Save your bullet for now as NQ is going sideways... We MIGHT have another sizeable up leg later on today, but not now as I don't see any anticipation from big players.
Stopped out the prior long, but got back in on this PB. Small size. Definitely not a bet-the-farm long as I see conflict, too. May add if we make new highs.
It's a good idea to play with small size trades for now while PA is not showing any clear direction. P.S. I only speak in term of NQ instrument as you might already know.
It's an interesting subject, actually. Saving your bullets, that is. In hindsight, most of my big wins have been trades with a strong move where I layered into the move by adding as the market moves my way with very little initial risk. It's amazing when I start to reflect on it. And most of my big losses have come from going too big all at once and worst: going big inside a chop zone. Just stupid, really. Today is a range bound day so far and I have low expectations, but so far I'm liking to buy the dips on small size and seeing if it goes anywhere. My guess is this eventually resolves to the upside. Just not sure how much up move we'll see?
You see any big players now, @QTrader20? Not sure how you monitor that, but seems like some volume coming into the market on this push, no?
Big move ones only happen once or twice a week. The yesterday one only happens once or twice a month which I call a million dollar trade setup (it's very rarely to happen more than 3 times a month unless there is a lot of volatility.) I guess we all have to be very patient to wait.
