Hello, buddy! just seen this! I'm doing OK. Don't forget i'm more of a 'hobby trader'. Certainly nowhere near good enough to be able to rely on my attempt at trading to make me a consistent living wage, so i'm often busy with work and other stuff. And like LF, I also tend to spend some of the trading day on discord. Split my 'trading time' between here and there. Alternating, basically! I'll be back to posting some trades and stuff soon! I just need a disclaimer under my name to remind people i'm NOT someone you should listen too and i'm the last person you should ask advice from! (I say this because I tend to get DM's from people asking for help just because I might have made some good live calls that week! lol. I then have to give them my life story!) And congrats to @Laissez Faire on a truly monster of a day! I was lucky enough to watch him crush it in real time on discord lol.
it's private but you're not missing much. I promise. LF left it. That should tell you all you need to know lol. And I try to not look too much myself. It was very good a long time ago, but the person that made it good kind of semi retired from trading after making his money.
Day 2 of Covid letting me stay home to trade instead of having to go to work. Some good, with an error or two tossed in for good measure. Net result is just over +6.5 points and I'm in global sim mode for the rest of the day.
100% I agree with this. tbh I don't care to know how LF or theapprentice or anyone else works the ES. I'm open minded and I think I'm observant enough to pick up valuable clues from what they do share. But the one thing I finally learned that set me moving on a more or less positive equity curve is that I have to learn to see the market as I see it and not as someone else sees it. In the final analysis, many see the same thing, but the manner we frame our view to ourselves is going to vary from individual to individual. If I were a better writer that would probably make more sense but I think the meaning might still be somewhat clear.
I think people need to be careful about being too transparent with their trading process anyway. There must be tons of bots scanning forums to feed AI models to trade against us. I was at a conference in February where they were trying to encourage everyone to feed their processes into ChatGPT in order to automate. I walked out.
I guess you weren't around on ET that long. @LF isn't the only one he attacked. He also had another nick @Gotcha which he used to attack those like @LF. I used to post A LOT of pnl screenshots on here and on my personal thread from my personal trading ES/NQ account. Most on here long enough know that I used to a scalper. I posted my trades with timestamp and he attacked me about how risky some of my scalping trades were. I stopped posting on my personal thread. Several months later (if I remember correctly), I posted on this thread with a lot of pnl screenshots without entries and exits. He sent me a pm asking me about my trading strategies and another pm asking for my trades with entries & exits marked on my charts which I politely refused.... Anyway, I got tired of going back and forth with some ET members and I decided to spend my time doing something else instead of posting on ET.
