Nice, Relentless. Still short myself, but had to re-enter. Now we pray. I see the potential of a big sell today, but expectations are low. Need to get lucky. I had a pretty big day up yesterday and wanted some quick and easy profits on the Globex Open, but got chopped to pieces in that back and forth around 5350 on too big size. Let's see if I can recover. I need a big one today... I like that 5200 number if shit hits the fan.
Potential for big sell if this pattern continues today. Potential for a big trip in my little rocket ship if it trades to new highs on the day after the open. None of this constitutes me making a call. I have set ups I use to more or less keep me right sided. At the moment, the right side is the short side, but long rumblings can be heard as well as the market gods battle this out.
FWIW, the main reason I'm leaning short today is simply the general environment we're currently in and uncertainty around the Iran/Israel situation going into a weekend. Makes me think bigger players may want to take some risk off here. Probably also a lot of late longs that piled into the highs with FOMO at yesterday's close. Main plan for now is to watch for any attempts to go higher to fail on the Open around the 50 area or maybe a tad higher. Any failures will be sold with confidence. If there's a huge bid on the Open beyond the 50 area, might be worth taking the long after all.
Misread the day and calling it early... Big picture it's still a sell-set-up for the day, but probably (?) not the big sell? Worst case scenario it's just a choppy nightmare session.
Choppy nightmare for sure. I got caught in a phone call and basically just liquidated the runners. Hope you were able to make back some of your morning losses. Everybody have a good weekend.
