    Tough call tonight fellla's.
Best advice... don't get all crazy with size.
Coiled spring just waiting on the right amount of open positions to add up enough to make the mathematical sense for a little whale algo to rake the table.
The big whale algos are sitting tonight out for now.
That is, unless the little whales get carried away.
    Then they'll get eaten.

Coiled spring on what? Lackluster earnings? There's nothing here on the indices man. They cannot trend north until the Fed relents. That is not going to happen until next year. The averages are going down and will continue to do so. But many of your gaba stocks may zoom higher!

    Mr. @LinearThought...

    >>>Coiled spring between now and the open of RTH's... one that will serve to spring itself when the numbers are ripe enough for a table rake of the pajama folks. Christ almighty... it's not that f'n hard when you slow down, read twice... and think about what you just read.

There's no coiled spring, man. That spring was unsprug on Thursday and Friday. We got nothing for Monday except Empire State Manu index? The rest of the week is trash as well! There's nothing there on the eco calendar!

China quarter GDP change tomorrow night, but that's it! Nah, it's earning seasons time man! Where we all hope the price is right! This is your domain man! Company earnings!

You wear your sarcasm meter on your chest like Ironman wears his fusion energy heart thing. :)

    I love that about you.

    Whatever.
I'm sure all the algo's un-fucking-plugged themselves for tonight and the chart will be a big straight line dishing out cotton-candy and pics with the unicorn between now and 9:30... because there's an economic calendar this fucking week that no one but you knew about. :banghead:

There's no coiled spring on the calendar. It's all about earnings now. I was trying to compliment you, and you took it the wrong way.

Like I said, slow down and read the words.
What I wrote actually corresponds to your line of thought.
Did you catch the part about "little whales"? And the part about the "big whales sitting it out"?
I was talking about the next 8 fucking hours.

If you knew anything... that is the PRIME TIME for smaller algo's to create large spikes on low depth of market short term moves. IE... nights like tonight.

Jesus Christ.... why do I even waste my fucking time here.
    Go away!

  9. If you sell a bottom or buy a top and the market reverses on you - whose fault is it?

Trading is a very serious game requiring the utmost skill, discipline and preparation to succeed. Playing this game is 100% voluntary and anyone playing it without knowing what’s going on or taking the necessary precautions deserve what they get.

This may sound harsh, but it’s the truth.

So, losing money in the market is a personal choice. :)

Hey @Overnight.... what did I write in that post I deleted?
How many points did I say?
    40?
    Imagine that.
What happened after I signed off?
Flatline--- flatline--- flatline--- BOOM.... 40 points.
You really gotta quit this chiming in on every post, on every thread, in every forum, that anyone makes here.

What does that contribute to a serious discussion between two people discussing advanced theories on option pricing models?
