Those really big bullish looking candles though are often traps in an overly bearish market and the open price (which in this case is 3660 and 3660.75) very often get filled back in. I covered my futures short already though on this down move. Just holding a small equity position.
Flat on that pop and green after a drawdown. A close above 3692 seems unlikely, although the market seems strong ATM. I had a few + 10 go back to B/E already, so decided to just trail out aggressively as we were closing in on resistance anyway. Since this is a range-bound and two-sided market, I think that 3690 level can get sold hard or will be tough to get by. In the old days (pre-FED tapering), we'd easily rally higher here. I'm not sure we'll see it today.
Is that 51 / 16 = ~ 3,25 points x 16 contracts? You mentioned trading a $10K account. Are you really trading with that much leverage on a 10K account? I imagine you have more money in the bank, but still. That's not much of a drawdown possible. Regarding NQ/ES, I had a difference today as ES have been weaker for the entire session.
Hello hope all have good weekend. I post picture and have make some note. Three range and three volumes peak. End of month is Friday and will see the bar end. Make good judgement all trader and some profit. Thank you.
I'm no guru but QQQ, at least, is not showing any signs of the longer move being over. No momentum divergence, breaking out of the channel (sometimes happens during the middle of the move), and all kinds of tail risk out in the world to the downside. I really need to hire a trading coach to get me to stop selling my winners. I do it at the perfect time to buy!!!!
It could have been 16 x 1 = 3.25 per. It doesn't matter... at 12:20pst ES has an RTH range of 73.00... 51 points is 69% of what has been offered! A good day!! I forget this is ET... only large size and large reward per trade matters. Nothing personal LF.
Yes, max drawdown at 5k, 50% of my initial balance, which had been wiped few times in Q1 this year. I only count total points, $50 each. And importantly, this is my "funny" money, can't take it seriously.
