Hats off to those who managed today's chop or had the foresight to stay out of it. I'm only glad I had the discipline to say stop before it got really bad (like have happened in the past).
86 is the weekly mid-point so far. Maybe a minor pullback. But I don't think I should be taken out B/E if the kind of day I'm envisioning will materialize.
$SPX touched opening print, pulled back a little. Off to the races likely if it does it again. Though $TICK is not confirming ATM.
NQ reversed off yesterday's close (a few points shy). Looks like a normal pullback to the breakout area so far. Weekly mid-point here at 86. If we get a new thrust above the current HOD, I'll trail my stop as I would expect us to to run on that second push.
That was not supposed to happen, boys. Out B/E on that trade. No short trades for me today, I think. May take another shot at the long side if we hold the midpoint here. If it tanks, I think it will be without me.
Yup, that's the shitty part about home runs. The win rates will be much lower. If you can manage 60% wins on 10 points, the 20 point wins will have to be considerably less than 60% of the time.
