Well for the last few hours its been pretty side ways and hard to call a directional breakout. Maybe it was just me Hopefully this is the follow through down now.

Looking at the price action a lone a little difficult for sure. But was just watching my larger charts + the fact that NQ took out it's relative low earlier... showed me they were hunting lows and already really bearish market. Good probability for the breakdown which NQ did. ES as per normal trend continuing they want to hold it up longer.
Yeah i was on the right side of those moves. I was referring to the range bound situation for the last few hours. No breakout either way in the end. I cant really scalp ranges like this because my bid/ask spread is too wide. So I hunt for breakouts mainly.
Roger. I didn't catch any of the long, so if you caught both sides that's a job well done. Personally I don't often see break outs or ranges, mostly just hunting for relative lows or highs, anything beyond that is just a bonus for me personally. NQ again the clear winner to short though, it made three new relative lows at which time ES couldn't even put in one.
Well when I say the "right side" i meant I was short at the right times, and stayed out for the long. That's the "right side" for me, as I only trade in line with the longer term trends unless I think there is a full reversal. I am more concerned with what is coming next. NQ did make a new recent low today, but it seems a bit too much to expect a follow through tonight or tomorrow now unless there is some bad news. Plus this is the kind of point where the hysterical buying starts to kick in. I'm still staying short on the NQ for now.
Roger. Yeah ES is still showing that relative strength. Pattern for most part has been NQ taking out lows and afterwards ES/NQ drifting up and than later get the bigger ES dump. So, we'll see if we move up some overnight and hold the gains. Than tomorrow intra-day will look to attack strong short setups again.
