Yeah, in the end I had the wrong analysis and even from day trading perspective. You we're on the correct path. We got pretty close to the minimal retrace I was expecting, but overall day was certainly not bearish like I was looking for. I went again with the long and eeked out $114 after commissions, which isn't a terrible day for me since I traded pretty small account, plus micro mini's. But I definitely struggled.
Good call! Even looking at your chart I couldnt see anything long about today, so I never would have figured it out. I couldnt even figure out what indicators you were using
ES closed the session near the highs + 1,64 % and NQ closed the session also at the highs up 2,46 % from yesterday's close. Seems pretty bullish to me, although that 64 level is proving to be a hurdle that's worth paying attention to. We now got that green nice candle I was hoping would materialize by the end of today's close, so hopefully we'll get continuation, but who knows anything these days.
Yeah, not much really happened intra-day from a macro perspective. We're still trading below ES 4566 and NQ 14615. So, my overall view hasn't changed, not really bullish until we trade above those levels, and preferably candle close above. Was just expecting a little more on the pullback to cover my shorts and look long, just didn't happen. We did drop to 14427.50, but not quite the 14000 and below was looking for.
