Yeah, I just dont understand how they can launch those etfs based on the futures when futures volumes are so low, and BITO is already doing a lot of volume as an ETF. I dont understand the mechanics behind it. I would like to know how they are all connected. I am curious about this space as I like to dabble in those futures when i have the margin (havent opened up a coinbase account yet for cash). I am mostly getting frustrated holding futs over the weekend when cash takes the moves i wanted on saturday / sunday though.
scaled down position size and done for the day, 42 points. these few days is tricky, everyone is watching the same chart, feels like casino run, win small and lose big.
been building up quarter size ethereum in the last few weeks whenever there is more than 1.5% drop, hope ride it out. I won't do crypto in futures. futures contract is a reference asset, with all the math behind it. It is akin to I never make money on USO but can scalp some pocket changes in CL.
out at 4691, 28.5 points. a bit scary when shorted at 4689.75 and it dropped to 4681, but double my position when I saw the v at 4685 and rode all up less that 3 points on average. it is tricky these few days for sure, risk rewards are not here. i still carry 1 march 22 contract from 4602, perhaps a computer and monitor upgrade if we make it to 4750 by year end, i see that as a top.
