Suddenly selloff in ES. Any news? Damn, this one looks nasty. Whoa, stopped me out and now I'm short.
Right at the 10PM ET tick, nah, nothing unusual, Just Asia stuff going on. Now is the time to go long, since we have no news forthcoming in any market.
Ahh, I see it, it was BOJ statements at 10 PM ET. I expect a rebound off that knee-jerk reaction. Damned algos!
LOL And this is usually a sleeper part of the Globex. Never expected to see a free fall. Hell, we're moving down again. I think we'll go straight down to 3800.
From Bloomberg: Kuroda Shocks by Tweaking BOJ’s Yield Cap, Sparking Yen Jump Widens movement range around unchanged 10-year yield target Central bank says bond market functioning had deteriorated The BOJ will now allow Japan’s 10-year bond yields to rise to around 0.5%, up from the previous upper limit of 0.25% on its movement range, according to its policy statement Tuesday. _____________________ I swear those Japanese traders are pussies.
Is that TradingEconomics? Well, I only have the US economic events toggled on, so can't see anything out of Japan. Well, duh...
But then again what the heck does BOJ's decision got to do with us in the US? Don't see the reason why ES sold off on that announcement, as if we didn't already embarked on anti-inflation measure ourselves.
