Powell said no rate cuts in 2023, maybe I misheard.

 

Why do you expect a cut? Maybe a lower rate hike or no change, but an actual cut? I don't think so.

 

No, many expect the hikes will top in May then Fed will sit and wait, eventually a cut in Q3/4.

If that's what the Wall Street expects, I'm pretty sure they'll get it. Powell might talk tough now, but he'll lower his voice by then.
