ON, you've been around this stuff long enough to know to just take tested and recognizable valid signals and to ignore "feelings" and news BS. It's easy if you let it be.
I know. And it will make you sob to know that in the back of my mind I felt that this whole market felt like it was in down mode. But yesterday cast doubts in my mind. So I pushed aside the idea of a swing short, and played the long side. Yer right on the fundamental thing. It is exhausting, and I am overthinking it. But the feelings do work when put to the test. At least, it tends to on this end. Everyone is different.
I should really start looking at the ES more. Was back at the trading machine reviewing the day, and an ES short looked good, so went short for 3 points in SIM. It worked in like 2 minutes. Bam. (3.25 points to be precise. I reckon that was a sim flub. But I dunno'. ES is foreign to me).
ES moves slower than NQ, but the tick value is more than double. NQ is great for after hours trading because it moves about as fast as ES does during the day.
Good evening, traders! Last week opened gap up at all time highs, but sold off for most of the week with volatility increasing daily and peaking on Friday with a close at the day/week lows and selling off further in ETH. Any expectations for the coming week? I'm eyeing the 2940-43 as a potential downside target by EOW if we trade lower from here - which is my main hypothesis as of now.
