So did I as it turns out on MNQ just to give it a whirl! At the ETH open though. And I was watching, watching, then the fucking doorbell rang. So I had to bail at 7 points profit because I couldn't leave the trade unattended. I wanted to manually work it. It was some young dum full of cum salesperson for some eco-renewable energy BS trying to get us to sign up for a different provider of basic electric service, to recapture the renewable charges on the bill? Bugger off! I come back, the thing is up another 8 points? I am so bloody mad at having that concentration broken, can't focus, so just shut it all down. Tomorrow is another day. But guys, on a day when I went long at noon in Sim, I managed to squeak out $13 on a MNQ long in real money! WOWOW! I'll accept that I stayed out, but to have these eco-Nazi salesmen ringing the doorbell at what is effectively dinner-time to try to peddle their BS warez, (Oh, I asked the guy for a business card, he said they don't use them because they harm the environment, they are zero-footprint...*rolls eyes*), thus killing my concentration? *sighs* The funny thing is, while he was spieling me, he said "Massachusetts has been giving consumer choice since at least since I was born, in 97, hehehehe", a tiny portion of the back of my mind did this picosecond calculation that he was 22 YO. I thought to myself, "OMG, yer that young?" *shrugs* Sorry for the rant all, that made me mad. Carry on. lol
haha. I feel your pain, man. Here in Utah, we get swarmed with kids selling solar panels. Drives me crazy. I finally just got a Ring Camera doorbell and can tell them politely through the camera to bugger off.
Would you mind sharing why there wasnt enough reason to cover around the 75 area , after you had already called for it earlier that day? Are you using targets based off SPY?
I have great respect for anyone who has the courage and confidence not only to give a sales career a try, but especially those who take it direct to the consumer by going door to door. I have several very well to do friends who started thriving businesses going door to door themselves, and in many cases, continue to grow by employing outside sales people instead of telemarketers. I'll bet that young salesperson made more than $13 yesterday
