I never followed your other journals, but this one is fun. Your work and honesty are appreciated. thnx
Well, I'm sure you care what you're doing. I've shown many of my trades through the years and explained what it is that I do. I don't recall you ever explaining your trade plan I don't post trades during the day for a number of reasons, one, I take too many to post and keep focus and secondly no one should care as we all have different trade plans with different time frames. I pay little attention to what someone else does unless they keep running in front of a train which is hard to ignore. Good trading to you.
...in the process of formulating my plan..think my timeframe is somewhere between you and b1s2..trying to simplify-also trying to incorporate NQ/ES divergences..if you have time later could you briefly explain your's again..thanks...I primarily trade soybeans currently -re-adding es to palette as Iv'e traded it in spots going back to the pit days....and day traded spy weekly options for a year or so...
If Spooz were here, he would tell you that this mornings high was almost exactly 61.8 fib retracement. SPYgrain, what I do is conceptually simple as I trade trend pullbacks. In reality, there is often conflict across the 3 tf's as to what is "trend". That's why I refer to my entries as momentum impulse trades. I will take a setup (pullback) on any of the three tf's so qulifiers are a combo of where price recedes to on each as it relates to my MA's and occilator divergences. I employ targets based on average MFE with stops below/above my entry pivot. As my stops need to be smaller than my targets, sometimes I can't get into a trade but that's OK as I get many signals. I will post a pic of my 45k to give a few examples.
I don't pay attention to any other markets that I am not trading at the time....not saying it doesn't work just that I like to keep things as simple as possible. My qualifiers are complex enough.
