Assume I went long at 60.25x1K lots. The blotter is my net.

What can you buy with B1S2 sim-losses of $18K? Has anyone on this thread, other than your's truly, posted an actual PNL?

I don't have time to hold your hands. Hence the blotter. Please let me know when you actually trade an idea you've taken from this thread.

It's not about holding hands. It's about following through. You said you are paying someone to tally up his trades, so you clearly understand the value in this.

Your blotter, as good as it is, doesn't show your ES trades. If you cover and go short, it doesn't reflect this. I don't question your trading ability but in this case, you are taking credit for a call not made. Simple as that.

I am not taking credit for the call. I stated to assume it was a long at 60.25, with no cover, 1000up. I am stating... that the blotter reflects the net PNL, whatever the ES trade was (or was not).

If you're posting a blotter then I don't need to read what entries you had. You don't get an opinion if you refuse to (occasionally) post PNL... which also seems to include you.

I am not of the opinion that "all that matters" is an entry/stop/exit. It's the bastion of the bullshitter who litter this thread. Not one regular posting a blotter. Why is that?

I guess it all depends on the purpose of posting a call. It shows how well one can or can't trade a specific market. Your PnL clearly shows you are at the top of your game, but it doesn't say much about your ES trading. I venture to guess that if forced to only trade the ES, your PnL wouldn't be as large. Nothing wrong with that cause you know where your edge is. But this being the ES thread, it makes sense that ES calls that can properly be followed with an entry and exit is what makes sense to post.

Oh, and the answer to this is because it's incredibly difficult to trade ES outright day after day. Not just the odd good call and then silence for days.

God no. I am net-negative in ES as I use it primarily as a hedge. My spec-trading is in SPX.

  8. This went as expected. It’s the usual: «Oh, I actually covered at the high tick and went short instead, but didn’t have time to post that one.»

When their calls go well, it’s celebrated from here to eternity. I even saw a chart with their own call pasted in just to gloat. Who does that…?

But when shit hits the fan, they go silent.

I don’t mind a shitty or honest call that doesn’t play out, but it’s annoying when the same people who demand the best from others fail to deliver themselves and come short where they criticize others.

    Nice job, @Seaweed :)
