The guy who doesn't know tick size doesn't agree with me. Shocker ... dude, I've seen your posted trades, and can see why you;d need $1100 to trade micros, and I mean that with all due respect. Seriously, I've seen you down almost as much on an NQ 1 lot as I'm will to take on a 10 lot ... but I enter trades differently than you do, and I take profits and losses differently as well. I am making a recommendation that someone emulates my type of trading rather than yours. However, if they want to trade like you, then yes, they would be better off with $1100 per microlot. And I reeally don't mean that to be mean or harsh. You trade so very different from anaything I would try to do, your risk is so large, that you cannot compare what I am suggesting to what you do. To each his own ... but understand that when you disagree, it is because of you, and not the nature of the markets or the instruments, except as they exist in your head, not mine. But if someone wants to day trade the ES with a plan to take small risks and reap larger rewards, then $100 to start and then add at $400, $600, and $800 so one micro/$200 equity.
I'm heading out as well for a while ... my ES targets are 2998.75 (hit, but @speedo could vouch as I sent him the chart with the targets this morning well before that time) ... 2902's, and 2909's ... those 2909's will be watched, imo, and if institutions see price back above the 2910's, then it should be clear for a test of last week's highs, imo.
How did you pick the the 98.75? Some of the reasons I think you might are: 1) 97.75 5/6/19 open 2) front run of the 00.5 HWB level 3) supply level shown in the attached chart? (Thick green line) 4) A fib extension (maybe -61.8% extension of rth low to first high that retraced to HWB on the open pop) 5) Maybe like you said you were just aiming for globex high 6) First touch in RTH (had a first touch in today's globex session) of 5/7/19 globex high to 5/7/19 rth low swing HWB Maybe I am missing something tho.
