Chip ins ... they don’t happen often, but boy what a feeling it gives you when it does. Moments like that I imagine I may actually be mastering my golf game. Then I triple bogey the next hole and the Universe successfully puts me back in my place. You loving this overnight run up, I bet, @Buy1Sell2?
It looks like it's pretty much where it was at closing. I do see tomorrow as a down day---perhaps as much as 40 pts.
There is that potential gap above 2900 I’ve talked about (and been hoping for). 2929 is a target as is the ATH so I am hoping we gap and go and the PA returns to what we Americans remember as “Normal.” Of course, right now all we have is another nice EuroAsian trend day that could very well be followed by another dead range day ... just a range at a slightly higher level. Meanwhile the Bear market is poised to open at yet another new high ... all the while keeping us breathlessly awaiting its first triumphant lower low. Higher highs, higher lows, from sea to shine sea ... Good luck today, y’all!
Hmmm. JPM up 2.5% on its numbers but there's absolutely no volume on it and ES didn't budge. Could this be the beginning of Izzy's revenge? 2905. edit: That said, if its starts climbing, its gonna explode up. Where's B1's latest 30 point stop? 2912? edit2: yep.
Would you guys quit trying to pick the top already? The market is obviously a LONG and has been since january. Its no wonder that so many people fail at this - so much ego, so little gains. At this point i think b1 is either trolling or mentally affected because theres no way a normal person would let their pride lose them so much money.
For JPM, I have an anticipated target of 121.00, and if so, another extension to 126.00. You should also start to see volume spike once we print up into 108.00.
Pro gap and go ... 2800's in the rear view for now and won't be seen head on until 2929 and probably new ATH's. Anyone who shorted the low of this pullback should have covered on the tick break above 2900 (2900.25 stop) imo because unless this is sold hard at the bell ... this might be the first decent trend trading day in a while ... although I do wish it would calm down a bit here and leave some for those of us who don't settle in until 9 AM or so lol Seriously admirable how smotth and technically flawless the ES trades from about 3 AM to 8:30 AM these days (or nights?).
I love these overnight runups in bear markets. We'll see what RTH brings us as I expect a large down day today.
