No room for hope in a traders vocabulary

Hope is reserved for those who buy options

    Use a OCO order

Once again had you scaled out of your short at 91 instead of covering all of it you would be more profitable here at 85

OCO is of no help if the profitable side is never hit----thus the need to stay up and watch the market. ---I would have left a swing trade on, but I had a day trade on. Thus, much better to remove full trade and get sleep.

That would require a broker and an execution platform.

How so? I covered my short last night at 91.25 and resold this morning at 91.75.

So you are compensating for poor entry with the larger stop?

One thing I don't like about this trade is your previous gained 6.25 but now you are risking going negative on the session by giving more than the house's money back on the next trade. Seems like poor risk management

Because you didn't let the first short trade mature to your original target

Factory orders came in as forecast... -.5%
The market needed a surprise to go up.

    Short at 88.25
