esfocus lets us see why most fail at this ... that he sees only the hindsight and not the strategy and that he lacks even the native curiousity to explore the strategy (to the point that he is blind to it) indicates he is worse off than even the average guy who decides to dabble in day trading.
when we take take out 2885, get back to me with more 'insight' thats helps me as a trader in the mean time, your position??
Yep can't learn if you don't pay attention. When you make a call I have the respect to look on my charts to see if there is commonality in signal. Often there is but when there isn't, I see a strong rationale for a trade. There is nothing to be gained by making a directional call and looking for atta boys from anonymous strangers. Trading offers so much more than that, it offers the opportunity to earn a strong living on your own terms.
I don’t mind at all: 9 and 21 ema’s ... now don’t go stealing my edge I know speedo’s Late great mentor Mike Bruns used the 30 weighted MA ... there is really no magic in the specific numbers, and 21 ema will closely track with the 30 wma
NQ is correct, there are many variations which will work for trend following systems. I use 9ema, 30 wma and 90 wma but play with combination until you see what you like.
