  1. Yah, but it was a somewhat predictable move which was nice . The movement all day today was pretty normal stuff. ES can’t catch a bid, sell all rallies. If you look at 15 min and above, it keeps u out of trouble on days like this. Just my 2 cents

I understand, I didn't mean to come off that it's some holy grail, it was just a general warning to myself and the other guy when we we're discussing shorting EOD, that's all, but since you asked I wanted to give a reply.

Turns out would of worked out very well to be short EOD, but wasn't interested in the potential EOD risk.

Anyways decent day, see everyone tomorrow.

  3. It's rare for the market to open this weak and have that weakness continue all the way into the close. We're at n < 10.

Generally, odds favour a green close tomorrow, but with such a limited sample size and a very 'interesting week' - I'd say anything's on the table for tomorrow. Momentum to the downside can easily continue quite a bit more than we've already seen.

EDIT: If I am to stick my neck out and make a prediction for tomorrow, I'd say it's unlikely we'll take out today's High @ 3328,25. Most likely - a gap up will be a good sell and a gap down will be a good buy. Generally speaking. The only thing I see which voids that is if we have a very strong gap on the Open, but that's not my main expectation. :)

  4. to be fair, if I trade after 3:00, it’s bc the higher time frames line up and I usually hold into the close

Ya, still not enough, sheeple haven't gone over the edge as yet, hanging on by their hooves.
Needs a another stomping or kicking legs out.
Wouldn't be surprised if this lot of sheeple spring out again and continue munching in the pastures as if nuthin' happened. Fed might come by with a step ladder to push sheeple up.

    NO!

The Fed is done beyond X-Mas. They already blew their load. They are now waiting this one out.

    Naaaa ....
The whole trapdoor pattern, it repeats, but there's a scale to it.
Sometimes more its greater than others.

    Its just a pattern.

Some are a healthy correction, some are a major event. This one was the former.
Hate to to say it... but buy the dip.

The good news is.... our in house IDIOT who has been proclaiming "there is no pandemic", "masks don't work" etc etc etc...... has been stopped the f out.
    :D
That makes it all worthwhile Mick.
Gotta love seeing a fool lose.
    Sorry B1.
    But the shoe fits bro.

  10. Yeah, but as he has always pointed out....he is in it for the long run and he is hedged....likely with SPY or SPX put options. As with the last election, we could explode back up pretty easily given the FOMO and TINA effect.
