And you know and many others, there's a ton of wisdom within this thread.
It's not all about ES, lot of intelligence if one is prepared to look.

This is where both bulls & bears have to be really careful while the big picture is unclear....

It depends on what's going on with the stock, and if you want to play it long or short.
If there's no news and its not a high-vis stock that particular day, the pre-market action is useless.
Ya gotta watch the volume too. If there's no news but unusual volume, sure the pre-market lows can give clues. A big volume spike that defines the low, could mean that will likely be the low of the day going forward on a stock that bad news came out on.

  6. Operating under this assumption right now. If this is truly a "3" up, we should really get going. Alternatively, that "3" could just be part of a corrective wave up. Either way, looks like more room on the upside -- at least to that 3520 level. Open to a variety of scenarios but trying to play the edges I have. My short-term cycle work doesn't support an up move here so that is something I'm keeping in mind.

  8. Volatility in tech today likely due to options expiration.
See the 2 articles I posted previously.

  9. Good point, syswizard. Options expiration days can be all over the place.
