thanks for the well wishes! I cost-averaged in a fair bit. Got a bit too hairy to be posting my trades in here at that point! I'm down pretty heavy on the day still at the moment, but it's all good. Only a few days worth of gains lost. I've had an amazing 6 months so can't complain We'll see how we close. I'm currently still long though
I admire your courage to add to a loosing trade. That is against my personal trading rules but a lot of times that works out but today is not one of those times.
Oh I know. Its just a healthy pullback. But even those won't happen until the overall short interest is low. Those signs were there earlier this week. It was super obvious. You guys gonna BTD? I guess as long as you don't hold on and trade your signals ya'll will be ok. Just remember, sometimes these decent corrections precede a bounce/flatline, and then comes the trapdoor. Wipe out all the discretionary cash in the market via margin calls.... then run the whole thing right back up on low volume, sell the top.... rinse wash repeat. There's absolutely nothing new. And yeah, we won't see a March correction, but the action on the chart is the same, its just scaled back. But its the same thing action-wise. Hey B1... XLF is standing tall like a good little soldier. Still over $25. Don't get tooo excited though. Experian released data on new car loans today. Who the f would take out a 9 year loan on pos new car? They are going to be so buried in that loan in 3 years. Dumb, dumb, dumb. House prices are off the charts too. Whoever wins this election better get this economy going or we are going to be in for one hell of a recession in the next 2-3 years. These numbers just don't add up. I don't think it can be done tbh. You young cats, get your financial houses in order and save save save. Quit spending all those discretionary funds if you have credit card or auto debt. Mortgage is ok.... everything else... not one of you should be ordering grubhub or drinking SBUX if you have a balance on credit card. Ok... enough on that. Be smart guys!
Nice, normal profit taking pullback here. Financials are strong and the rotation to these stocks and other non-tech issues continues here. ---Staying long---
