Oh no doubt, and you have definitely capitalized well. I was referring to swing shorts for those expecting another leg lower. It ain't been a pretty stretch.
I do all the time, for certain stocks at least. Low volume types. I watch the options too. I don't think it helps much here, maybe sometimes on the overnight if things are slow.
Wild swings both ways so far. But the dips are being bought. Weakness on NQ ain't helping, though. Any bets as for today's outcome...? I mentioned 67,50 and it's been resistance so far. If we can clear that level I'd be more confident we trade higher on the day. But as of now - it looks like a coin toss. No strong opinion either way, but leaning bullish.
Lets say Biden wins. He inherits an economy with 10%+ plus unemployment. Does anyone really think he's going to do anything to rock the boat? Raise taxes? -no New Green Deal? -no More spending? -yes Nothing will change for the foreseeable future. Its the same ol' same ol'. Nothing but talk. His focus will be have to be on job creation, and he won't pull any radical changes with our economy where it is right now. Oh they'll talk a big game, but nothing will be done. And that's exactly what the market is telling us.
So then you've changed your projections / sentiment on overall market direction? Just curious because you seemed fairly bearish a bit back.
Raise taxes? -yes Green New Deal? -yes More spending? -yes National Mask Mandate when outside regardless of whether alone or not?---yes
Tricky session so far, IMO. No clear direction. Rangebound. NQ is weak, but as we know - that one can turn in a second.
Sounds good. I'm sure it's more beneficial on stocks. I'm sure you'd enjoy the book about the Flash Trader. He was a master of the DOM on ES before he eventually wound up in jail.
