  10. It will all come down to whether the GOP wises up and realizes that the unemployment plus-up on the unemployment benefit is the only thing between where we are and SPX $666. Milton Friedman was wrong, demand matters more than supply, and with the whole world printing, inflation is not and will not be an issue.

    The new number is being talked up by the GOP is now $400/month (Mnuchin was at 70% income replacement a few hours ago). An 84% reduction in consumer spending by 10's of millions of American families will be the death knell for which the bears have been awaiting.

    The GOP and Dems created this situation by destroying millions of jobs. And now the GOP wants to operate on the theory that the problem is the American worker has suddenly become lazy?

    I'm working some SPX put orders today for October 2020 and December 2020 as a hedge against Republican stupidity and Democratic timidity.
