As TW stated ... Always Always Always buy that extra .25 of the point ... same on exits... instead of say 60... go 59.75.... that will save you a lot of grief over your career... it’s just rule of thumb , especially with Es... nice job just the same...
I will tell you this TJ...the successful ones remain and eventually come back after the critics blow up and are no longer heard...until they come up with a new nick only to spew their vitriol and alienate the good contributors. You had a good day...go celebrate and forget about the state of this thread. It's easy to identify the positive influences here.
Not sure to whom this was intended for but I don’t see anyone here leaning on TJ... we’re here to help each other ... it’s valuable advice!
An update on the WTI (CL) crude situation.....Goldman Sachs continues to dominate the trading: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...ore-1-billion-in-commodities-after-oil-tumult There's been a distinct bias upward every day when the pit trading on the NYMEX begins. Then, near the 2:30 pm EDT close, the market retreats. For the most part, the crude oil price has been following the equity markets ...with pricing between 36 and $39/BBL. PA remains volatile. Settlement for the July contract is coming up soon on June 22nd. Crude oil inventories appeared to be contained at this time. However, gasoline and distillate inventories remain near all-time highs. Recently, diesel fuel prices reached 21 year lows. This market continues to hold up on hopes of increased demand of end products from the re-opening of the US economy.
I’m assuming the riots are the reason for the gap down ? If so, last time we had a gap down bc of protests and riots it was immediately bought and closed up. Looks like it’s struggling here
Not directed personally at you - but why is it when the markets are up or down in a noticeable measure that there always has to be "something" going on. A headline or whatever. God forbid the explanation ever be there's more sellers than buyers or vice versa. Ah right - there's no good ratings in a headline like that. No drama can be induced there.
My comment to @trading_jean was not meant as an insult or negative in anyway and it was intended to give her/him a different perspective on the trade's outcome. I was pulling for her/him the whole way down. I gather TJ is relatively new, and yet it is obvious that @trading_jean has more trading talent and guts than most of the people I read here, and I apologize if I offended TJ in anyway by my comment.
