  1. Well, you already admitted to only trading a tiny account, so I'm not sure you should have a strong opinion in that matter.

There's many top performers who still got nerves. And I'd say that's in fields that have far more certainty than trading.

I'm trying to make this as a full-time trader with a limited account, so I think some nervousness is allowed.

Besides - when I speak of nervousness I'm mostly referring to being uncertain. Not flat out shaking. :)

I said I put on a partial position. There was nothing regarding account size.

Relax. I was just pointing out that of everything I've followed of @Spooz Top 2 it is very obvious he knows his stuff - and he's been at it for decades. Wasn't a knock on you - just props to him.

Anybody care to venture what they think will happen in 54 minutes?

  4. Shorts will get smoked. Again. But I'm biased - off course. :)

    I'm anticipating a swing to 3220.

3230 would be an outlier target.

It's anyone's guess at this point, IMO.

EDIT: That would be by end of day. Next 54 might be just choppy, unless someone starts front-running the FED here.

No... If your risk is defined & your target is established... what is there to be constantly nervous about? Your going to have to work on channeling that nervous energy....

  8. You're literally putting words in my mouth. I have never said I'm constantly nervous. I'm specifically referring to points in time where I'm uncertain about the market moves.

But sure. If the risk/reward is defined - you'd sure prefer the reward, right?

And risk is relative too. If your bet size is 0.1% of a large sum of money you don't even need - then that's quite different from risking 2-3 % per trade on a smaller account of your hard earned savings.

At the end of the day - my call for today was right, but I actually got spiked out for a 5 point profit.

And that's the difference between actually calling and trading. The call is always right. Real exits and entries is where the rubber meets the road.

Shift your focus from outside to inside...

There is something that I need -to-
There is something I am not yet doing that I need to be doing.

If you use targets and stops only 1 of 2 things will happen: your targets will get filled, -or-
you get taken out on stops, which you've already determined was acceptable risk. THAT is very brazen knowledge to own!
