NQ said some really nasty and untruthful things about me going into last week's end. I think I am allowed this much.
Thanks, dude. I was traveling yesterday, so didn't get to play it then, but the overnight session gave me a second chance. I'm always nervous shorting this market, but I locked in 5 points on it now, so we'll see where it ends up.
Do you run multiple contracts? Was just gonna say you could take some off at your initial targets and leave some for runners (even if say its only 2 you could chop 1 and let one run). Maybe for higher % trades you are in or ones that have really caught some heavy momentum.
Stop @ 85. Target is 2964 or 2950. Nervously short. EDIT: And stopped. - 5,00. Could still swing up to 2988 and reverse from there, but not feeling confident enough in it that I'll hold that one. I could have adjusted my stop to 86 as we have an R20 here, but there's other levels above nearby, so its just a bit too risky, IMO.
I do run multiple contracts and I've been thinking about scaling a lot. The general problem with scaling out is that you're taking losses on full size and winners on reduced size. But if you have a high win percentage and/or have your first scale out on a high point average, I suppose it can work. So it's something I may want to consider. Lately, I've been experimenting with adding to winners instead. But mostly I'm all in - all out.
