I would say it's 50/50 at the moment. We have a range between roughly 2795 and 2820 (or 2790 and 2825, no clear line but definitely a range) and had one failed break-out below and looks now like a failed break-out above.
Nice trades. May you please share how you decided to exit at 34 instead of waiting for the target? Thank you.
Nothing is fool proof, but being a fool, I do try ... Oldies but goodies ... three drives to a top during the rally, and then you see that little triple push fail at the high. I hit a market order to exit when I saw 35 trade, one tick below the close of the punult. I'm a real "keep it simple, cause I'm stupid" kind of guy. Also late in the day and I had a great day, so no need to risk losing 20 points profit for another possible 10 point gain that may or may not appear.
Also, if it had been 2:40 instead of 3:40 I would not have exited that trade. Last 20 minutes have been odd lately. The last week or two we had those sell offs at the end of the day. I'm not one to take chances when there is no longer a large enough edge. @speedo can tell you we had a good day.
Elegant chart! Nice reasoning. After my short being stopped out and seeing it going up so fast , i took a long at market and borrowed your target 43. 43 worked! By the way, watching the charts is very helpful, I was first watching 5m only (using playback), then i added 2m and 1m; watching three together, trying to sense how a 5m bar forms from 1m and 2m bars ( seems easier to sense the flow of the market). Thank you very much!
