I agree. But ain't no one going anywhere on no jet plane anytime soon. Not like they used to at any rate. Many airlines also will be gone - shareholder equity wiped out. Boeing will continue as a company - no jobs or very few jobs will be lost. Shareholders will be left holding flaming bags of doggy doo doo.

Yeah its gonna be tough for the sector going forward for sure. Someone in another thread yesterday mentioned $LUV, Southwest... they'll probably survive. If I had to pick one, that would be it. U.S. based at least. Best balance sheet by far.
A good friend of mine is a pilot for Southwest and he is pretty confident that they will come out of this dinged up but no lasting damage. He tells me that his pilot friends on other carriers are scared $hitless.
