I think a lot or most brokers would close position at or near 0. They won't let an instrument run negative like that on expiration as the volume and endless amount of risk on their side.

The 20 million barrels a day demand went down to below 5 million barrels a day. So demand is down 15 millions barrels on a total of 80 million. That's close to 20% less demand.
