Yeah, I had some really low positioning, no reason for me to get out of all of mine, but I did anyways. It happens. I still do it all the time.
The daily spike at 15:50:00 ET, can go either way, and has been good for an instant burst of 5-10 pts all week. Nice when it goes the way of your position and frustrating when it doesn't. Especially when it's likely the last trade, going into the weekend.
There was afternoon drama in CL when it dropped to 24.57 at 2:20 pm. However, that level was bought and we ended up with a close over 25. This should continue to be a "rock 'n' roll" market. Of course, there is always a chance for a tweat from Mr. President that could have prices move wildly up. Shorts beware,
While we had discussions of Chop Suey PA today, one of the stocks that I am in was up over 11 percent.
My stop was well calculated today or I was fortunate. We came within 2 pts of it. I always calculate stop and position size prior to entering.
