If anything positive comes from this debacle.. We should reimplement “ Made in America” and bring manufacturing back home where it belongs! We should have never been dependent on another country/ countries that have been sodomizing us for decades on trade via our weak, sellout politicians that put their own agendas at the forefront over We, the people!
This country has been bending over for so long that we forgot how to stand upright with the pride that made us who we are.We finally have a strong president at the helm with some big balls
That does not feel the need to be politically correct, as he’s not a career politician, sucking off the tax payers teet... The American people have been conditioned to prefer and accept a good lie vs. being dealt the hard cold truth on important topics like trade.

This will be a good lesson to diversify the manufacturing risk outside of China.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the mkt stay in a tighter range for a while. Very choppy today . Bottom line theres no reason to buy stocks right now as the future is the most uncertain in history. Msft. apple and amzn still have $1 tril caps after the greatest chaos in history. Shows you the massive matched bubble we were in. Now we'll here all the story's how guys loaded C,uber, aig at the lows yesterday and made their year. But not a word how they got destroyed the last fe weeks loading the,. .

Two long back-to-back tails on the daily chart. I expect this to be a temporary bottom. Hopefully it won't turn into a 6-month aimless chop as was the case in the 2000 bear market.

Okay, but here's the rub. I dunno how old you are but back in the 70s and 80s when everything on the store shelves were "Made in America", prices were pretty expensive. People didn't have the financial means to splurge as they do now. It's through cheap labor from countries like China (and before that, Korea) that we have become spoiled rotten that we are today. Does anyone know what "frugal" even mean anymore? Once spoiled rotten, always damn rotten is my philosophy, especially when it comes to money. And I doubt that will change simply by rebranding our economy back to "Made in America".

If you know we are in a chop or entering one, it's much easier since range is defined. In this situation, legging in and trailing out strategy will be effective.
