  1. What's your average stop in this volatility?

The average 1-minute bar today have ranged between 7-15 points. Mostly around 10 points.

Unless entries are perfect or done at key levels, I'd say at least 10 points would be a minimum stop on a day like this.

My initial mistake a few weeks back which incurred a greater loss than normal was that I used too tight stops. I was not able to trade today, but yesterday, I used a 20 point initial stop on my entries. On most of my trades, I quickly tightened that though.

I had one trade with MAE at 0,25 points, but most of my entries on my winners took a bit of heat.

Normally, I use a 3 point stop with 5 points being an absolute maximum.

Too damn weak. Unless we rip higher from here, there ain't much time left. At this pace, we would be lucky if we can revisit 2540.

  8. That's a mighty tight stop in this environment. Kudos for pulling that off. I imagine your entries must be excellent and very selective.

So you don't think 2700 is on tap by the globex close? I kinda think that we could head there real quickly.
