'Everything' is already shut down and what's not already is getting shut down. For how long? God knows. Spain established a national curfew this weekend. I imagine the US is lagging Europe here. Rate cuts and liquidity injections are all fine and necessary, but I don't think it's going to do anything more than alleviate the problems ahead.
Not so sure about that. It's probably the right thing to do right now, but like I said above, I think it can only alleviate the problems and lessen the burden for people and corporations moving forward in this crisis. Should be a very interesting Open tonight and following hours all the way through Monday's Close tomorrow.
