Thanks. I think I have 4 in a row now which played out fairly well, but the call for this week is already put to shame. Not a surprise though - as this is a bull market going higher until proven otherwise. And I didn't have any hopes of anything beyond a small pullback from here. Weekly options sounds like a good idea for weekly plays. Have you made any trades on options yourself?
I probably have a thousand questions about that as I'm fairly blank on the subject. But for starters. Assuming I want to do a directional play - weekly or longer. What advantages are there to using options versus an outright position in ES futures? Might be a better place for this discussion than this journal though.
“Be prepared mentally to make several attempts at boarding a major price move. A trader's major market approach should be that of carrying out probing attempts which will will result in his being on board during major price moves. Be prepared to take small losses. Avoid the common thought that to take a small loss will reflect poorly on your IQ.” Conrad Leslie
That's perhaps the greatest performance of one of the greatest songs by one of the greatest bands of all time. That being said.... caveat emptor. De gustibus non est disputandum.... Which makes it jmho. Edit... Oops... I take that back. Wrong video. This one is the best. Splitting hairs of course.
