Parabolic moves can occur in any time-frame. Here's one from 10:30 am today in ES. (200 ticks).

 

Dec 26th 2018 definitely fits the up-parabola in that definition then. Man, that put hair on everyone's ass!

 

I belive the jest is "market direction" so let's not get carried away... you put a piece of glass under a microscope and it looks like sandpaper, but it's not.

 

All markets are fractal in nature.

 

Should get a bounce up. Maybe longs against 3118

 

Trends are a function of volatility and volatility is a function of fine engineering...
