We've all seen this movie a million times. The market slows down a bit. Some people feel the market's gone 'too high': "F**k - it's tempting to short this. It sure can't go higher than this. The FED will corrupt us all. I'll use a tight stop as the risk/reward is great." Maybe we'll see a shallow pullback, but the market just keeps inching higher tick by tick to the point which were your original short entry actually would have been a very nice long entry - even if you entered at new highs on the day.
