    FOMC meeting this month so that might be the only thing holding up this market.

    B1, you are either the greatest trader in the world with the greatest system/edge and you are trolling the F out of us... or you are the most unlucky man on the face of the earth.

    How you can time after time consistently make the wrong call exactly a few minutes before a large reversal is beyond me.

  8. I think Trump may make up another lie this Friday if the jobs numbers are weak. Something like, Powell called we had a great conversation, so great ...well I can't say whats next but your gonna like it.

I often wonder how hard would it be for the administration, the Fed and the Treasury to meet once a month and try to coordinate actions so that the action of one does not cancel the action of the other? Surely the common goal is to boost the economy. Something like this... The boss (Trump) "tariffs will increase", The other two: "lets do this and that so as to minimize the impact"

  10. The Fed is an independent entity whose mandate is to insure a stable monetary system which means a balanced supply and demand for money as well as control over inflation. They are NOT mandated with preventing recessions or depressions. The Fed Chairman is not a cabinet-level position.
