Notice how during the uptrend, that signal last 35 minutes and just 3.75 points until buy signal at 12 48 bar
The 1325 sell signal lasted 46 min until buy signal at 1411 bar. The sell signal was a range of 1.5 pts.
The buy signal at 1411 bar lasted just 14 minutes until the 1425 bar sell signal. This range was 1.75 pts.
The 1425 sell signal lasted 25 minutes until the buy signal that we are currently working at 1450 bar. The sell signal had a range of 1.25 pts
What we can learn here is that if you look at longer frames like hourly and 4 hour you'll see an overbought condition on hourly and a push outside upper Bollinger Band on 4 hour. Both of these therefore need a bit of a pause in order for time to catch up. Thus you see the reduction of range between signals while the market rectifies the longer frames. Make no mistake though--Until proven otherwise, the buy signals have more potential to make bigger gains than the sell signals.
