ES Journal - 2017/2018

I think it would be prudent to take profits now and wait for a pullback. Dark clouds on the horizon... (ES 2849)

 

Now just 13 points from all time high. I continue long here.

 

Out 7465. We are within 10 handles of a trade able top es, could be there now. Looking to short on confirming price action.

 

Short 2861, 10 handle stop. 60+ handle target.

 

Certainly possible but I believe that this trade is too early.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing that little gap filled on daily cash though.

 

Reminder though that gaps don't have to be filled right away. Case in point--- The gap on Jan 30 cash.

 

Never short a dull market? I would be cautious shorting this.

Very unlikely we'll fill the gap below today. Most likely, we'll be making new highs by the close. IMO, of course.

 

NQ and YM looking heavier now and not co-operating...

We are after all up 70 points in 4 days, so maybe it's time for a breather...?

A test of all time highs eventually would be textbook though.
